Eye Lash Lengthening Serum
(Bimatoprost)
If lash extensions are not for you, but you are seeking longer, fuller, thicker, natural lashes. Then eye lash lengthening serum could be for you.
Lumigan (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03%), also known as Latisse, contains the active ingredient bimatoprost, which is a type of medicine called a prostaglandin analogue, which has been shown to enhance growth of eyelashes up to 25% longer, 106% thicker and 18% darker in clinical trials and published papers.
Clinically proven results you can see over time. Lumigan is easy to use. It’s a once-a-day treatment you apply topically to the base of your upper eyelashes. Patients in a clinical trial saw results gradually over time (starting at 4 weeks with full results after 16 weeks).
This is a prescription only medicine and will need a face to face consultation in the clinic with our Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
Lumigan is not a cosmetic like mascara, it is a drug and you do need a prescription for it. Your Nurse will take a medical history, discuss any concerns to ensure informed consent before a prescription is issued. Tell her if you are planning to have any eye surgery, and please see potential side effects below, you are welcome to a free consultation and your nurse will ensure it is safe for you to go ahead with the treatment. Your prescription will include 3 months of treatment and the correct equipment needed to apply the serum.
