Treatment Areas

Frown Lines | Forehead Lines | Crows Feet

Forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet occur from repetitive movement of the muscles which then reflect on the surrounding skin. When we are young and our collagen and elastin stores are in abundance, the skin bounces back beautifully. However, as we get older and these substances diminish the lines become static, which means they remain on relaxation. We have a variety of options to manage muscle movement, skin quality and hydration levels. With time the wrinkles iron out and the skin takes on a more youthful appearance.

Brow Lift

Specific muscles depress the brows causing a heavy and tired look. Temples can become sunken and further add to the heavy sensation of the brow.

We can do a variety of treatments including dermal fillers, radio frequency amongst others to prevent brow movement, open the eyes up and help lift hooded upper eye to achieve a more refreshed look.

Bunny Lines (Nasal Lines)

Some people experience excessive wrinkling of the nose. We can help to eradicate these lines and soften any further line formation with anti ageing treatments.

Facial Shaping

Generally, dermal fillers are the first treatment of choice for facial shaping. (see dermal fillers) However, In some cases, additional options may be considered such as radio frequency, fat dissolving or jawline slimming.

Gummy Smile

MCS aesthetics offer treatments to help soften excessive gum display, which can cause lack of confidence when smiling. This treatment can reduce the amount of gum shown on smiling and potentially increase self-esteem.

Smokers Lines

A large circular muscle surrounds the oral cavity, which we use constantly to talk and purse our lips. As we get older, we encounter bone resorption and loss of collagen and elastin. Over activity of this muscle can cause horizontal lines to occur, often referred to as smoker’s lines. Administering very small amounts soft dermal fillers, skin boosters or relaxing tight muscles/fibres can cause this area to relax and reduce the severity of such lines.

Pebble Chin

Volume loss in the chin area can cause an orange peel or dimpling effect. This is because of the movement of the underlying muscle, which puckers the empty skin or volume loss from depleting fat pads. We can reduce hyperactivity in this area and further soften the appearance of the skin therefore contributing to a smoother looking chin.
