Microdermabrasion
The dead skin cells on the outer most layer of the skin are removed using a diamond encrusted head, attached to a small vacuum device.. A handset is used to direct the advanced suction over the area to be treated. The handset produces a mild suction to draw away the dead skin cells, and often black heads, to reveal newer skin cells. This leaves the skin looking softer and brighter and overall improves the skins complexion.
The procedure is chemical free and non-invasive that achieves amazing results revealing younger, healthier looking skin from the very first treatment. The skin’s appearance is further improved through increased collagen & elastin production as your body produces a new layer of skin.

What Does The Procedure Involve?
Your nurse will assess your skin type and will determine your individual needs. A treatment plan will be discussed with you to achieve the results that you require. Treatments plans can vary from single treatments to courses of treatments every 2-4 weeks.
The skin will be cleansed and the Ph neutralised before the treatment is commenced.
This will allow the abrasive crystal head to penetrate deeper into the skin. For male clients, ideally your face should be clean shaved the night before a treatment.
A hand held device will be moved over the skin encouraging dead skin particles will be abraded away and the vacuum in the wand will remove the lifted debris away from the skin. This dual action will stimulate blood flow to the skin, collagen and elastin are produced as the skin rejuvenates itself. Once the whole area has been treated the nurse will then concentrate on problem areas such as open pores, fine lines, acne scarring, pigmentation and blemishes.
When the treatment is completed a medical grade face mask will be applied and a variety of medical grade products, tailored to your skins needs, will complete the service.
