Benefits of Microneedling Treatment
Microneedling, also known as skin needling or collagen induction therapy, rejuvenates the skin, making it smoother, firmer and more toned. Safely administered, microneedling carries no risk to the client and no downtime. Delivered using a dermaroller or an automated pen, the device is gently passed across the surface of the skin, creating superficial punctures that stimulate a natural healing process.
The microneedling process creates thousands of minor punctures to the skin, stimulating an abundance of new collagen cells, which are instrumental in improving skin health and elasticity.
Microneedling rejuvenates the skin, treating numerous skin conditions:
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Loose and inelastic skin
- Ageing skin
- Sun-damaged skin
- Pigmentation issues
- General scarring
- Brown spots
- Acne and chickenpox scars
- Cellulite
- Pore size
- Under-eye bags
- Stretch marks
- Skin texture
There are a number of different pens, which will be discussed during your training. As your first pen you will need one which is reasonably priced, safe and simple to use, and perfectly suited to a number of microneedling treatments.
An alternative to a pen device, a dermaroller is a popular skin needling device. Much like a pen device, a dermaroller inflicts micro-injuries and creates micro-channels in the skin which allow for the absorption of 80% of specialist serums. This improves cellular activity and helps create new collagen cells, resulting in a youthful, better-textured and even skin tone.
Why choose to add Microneedling Treatment to your portfolio?
When applied expertly, microneedling is a simple, safe and quick treatment to carry out. With a strong demand for this therapy, which takes just 30 minutes to complete, microneedling offers clients exceptional value for money. The many benefits of the treatment – including boosting the skin’s repair system for a younger, healthier appearance – means microneedling is now an important service for clinics. It’s a great foundation technique which could later see you investing in high end serums or better still PRP Training with MCS Aesthetic Academy. In addition to learning how to perform this treatment, our training provides expert marketing advice to help you win clients.
